McDonald’s previously released a minion-themed dessert way back in 2017 if I remember it correctly. They offered the Honey Banana McFloat, Banana McFlurry, and Banana McDip which I all love especially the Banana McDip.

Yeah, this McDip could have been a 5/5 if only I got it exactly the same like their ads. LOL.
Anyway, going back to the real topic.
The world-famous fast-food company came back with a new minion-approved combo which you can enjoy for just Php 155. The McDonald’s Minions Combo includes Banana Caramel Shake and Garlic Cheddar McFlavor Fries. First saw this on Facebook and thought that I should try it too! “Me want banana!”
Banana Caramel Shake – McDonald’s creamy soft serve, combined with milk, and topped with decadent Banana Caramel syrup. It tastes sweet indeed but I love it that way. The banana flavor they used was the same as the one they used before (if I remember the taste correctly).
You can also get this shake on other meals, just upgrade your regular drink for an additional Php 45. Make sure to drink water after drinking this one too!

Garlic Cheddar McFlavor Fries – fries get soggy during deliveries so, I was already expecting it.. Given it was already soggy, I actually like its grated and melted cheddar cheese on top but I would be happier if they put more. The cheese toppings were only on top so, you won’t get any cheese left once you finished the ones above.
On another note, I barely taste the garlic aioli dressing but still, I would consider this a good buy for a once-in-a-while indulgent.

McDonald’s Minions Combo is definitely a perfect treat though I find it a bit expensive but worth the splurge. Will definitely buy the Banana Caramel Shake again but would think twice with the Garlic Cheddar Fries.

Online Delivery Experience
Ordered through their mobile app for ease and convenience but apparently, they got the wrong address and called me to correct it. Weird. LOL. Also, this is not the first time that they delivered the wrong item, I already experienced this when I tried their K-Burger wherein I ordered the K-Chicken Burger but they gave me the other one. The mobile app was supposed to provide a better experience but apparently, it doesn’t for me. I thought it would be a one-time or a once-in-a-while mistake but this has been happening to me consistently.
I also ordered the Minion Collector’s Meal Set B where you can enjoy The Rise of Gru Happy Meal with 4-pc Chicken McNuggets, Burger McDo, Cheesy Burger McDo, and 3 Regular Orange Juice Drinks. The collector’s meal will let you get 3 out of the 15 collectible designs at once. What made it different from the previously released minions collectibles (aside from its look) is that it comes inside a mystery ball capsule. The fun does not stop there as you can get a gold version in your Happy Meal box if you are lucky enough. Well, I definitely want the gold version that’s why I’ve decided to get the Collector’s Meal.
To make the story short, they gave me a different toy from what I chose and even had 2 of the same thing. Previously, I let go of all their mistakes but this time I tried contacting their customer service. I found out that the best way to contact them is by answering their customer satisfaction survey by visiting www.mcdolistens.com. Just make sure you still have your receipt as they will ask for the transaction details. After answering the survey, someone called after a few minutes and solved the problem.
Overall, I am not really satisfied with their repetitive mistake whenever I order using their app.
