Been craving for Overdoughs and been wanting to try their Cheesy Donuts ever since it came out and now, I was finally able to try it!
First tried Lola Nena’s Old Fashioned Donuts and I love it so, I wanted to see for myself if theirs is worth it since they are actually a bit more expensive.
OD Cheesy Donuts – my sister brought this from Manila to our province and it’s a good thing that it still looks good. I tried it both reheated and not and I like the reheated donuts better especially the toasted ones! Love the crunch it produces on the side and the soft and fluffy donuts with melted cheese inside. I actually thought that this would be like Lola Nena’s Classic Donuts but it is actually more like their Triple Cheese Donuts. Sorry, can’t help but compare!
OD Cheesy Donuts were filled with a triple cheese blend of Queso de Bola, Cheddar, and Cream Cheese then sprinkled with powdered milk on top. Love it!
I can’t really compare its taste since it’s been a while since I tried Lola Nena’s but this is definitely delicious and something that I would love to buy again. I would want to compare it side-by-side next time.
Was also supposed to get their OD Choco Cream but it was not available. My foodie friends told me that it tastes better than this one. Can’t wait to try it next time too!
They recently had a buy 1 take 1 promo on their donuts and cookies but I was not able to avail it. Lucky for those who were able to enjoy the promo!

Double Dark Crinkles – usually sold by 5’s and 15’s but I was able to get a piece as a replacement for the missing 1 piece donut.
I really love crinkles and I have high expectations on this one and it actually exceeded it. It was so good! Love the texture and flavor. It was rich, chewy, and fudgy with a bit of crispiness on the outside. Later on, I learned that they used a combination of 55% and 64% dark chocolate from Auro Chocolate. Well, that explained its delicious chocolate flavor. It was not too sweet and has the right amount of dark chocolate. Really, good job on this one!
The perfect crinkles for me! They also offer Red Velvet and Chocnut Crinkles but it was not available. Can’t wait to try it too!

Ube Cheese Puff – I also tried this reheated and not and I can’t see that much difference between the two. I was expecting a more crispy and flaky texture but that isn’t the case. It was crispy, light, and flaky but in just an okay amount. I also expected it to be a bit bigger since it cost Php 249 but it was too small. I think the box used was the same box used on their OD Mini Cookies.
Flavorwise, I like the combination of ube and cheese on top, it was well-balanced and the ube does not overpower the cheese or the other way around.

Strawberry Milk – I am also a fan of Elait that’s why I decided to try this. I was supposed to get their Chocnut Latte but it was already sold out and they only have the Strawberry Milk available. Good thing I love strawberries and this drink actually tastes good! I like it!
Just encountered one problem here, I like the bottle they used but the cap cannot secure the drink. It spilled on the box of the donut, good thing it was put on plastic and avoided more spillage. As you can see on the bottle, the drink is no longer full. I contacted them on their FB page and I really appreciate their good customer service. Additional points to them! They said they will further improve their bottles, hope that they really will. Let’s see when we order again.

I am also a fan of their Beignets but their ready-to-fry version was also not available. Been craving for it for a while now so, please restock! I also hope that it would be as good even if I’m the one to fry it.

Got my orders through GrabFood. The rider called me to inform me that they only have 7 donuts left so, they asked me if I wanted to fill it with 1 crinkle. I said yes and I wanted to add some more but thought they wouldn’t allow it. I should’ve asked them because it was so good! Btw, I got mine at their S Maison branch since they were the only branch that has Cheesy Donuts, the rest does not have any.

Overall, I like all their products except for the Ube Cheese Puff and I would highly recommend that you try it too!
