Craving for Shakey’s Mojos? Try This Easy Recipe!

With all the recipes being released by famous food establishments while we are undergoing community quarantine, thisĀ Shakey’s Mojos Recipe is one of the best!

Who doesn’t miss Shakey’s Mojos? Having mojos, with chicken, spaghetti or their pizza is definitely a must! So, I have decided to do my own mojos on my brother’s birthday to partner with our Tuna Pasta and Homemade Cheesedog Breadrolls.

The best thing about this recipe? You just need 4 ingredients!!!

Ingredients:
4 pcs Potatoes
1 pack Breading
2 pcs Eggs
Cooking Oil

In the original recipe, you were supposed to make your own breading but I have decided to use a breading mix instead.

Procedure:
1. Wash potatoes, peel then slice it into thin pieces.
2. Beat the eggs in a bowl.

3. Coat the potato slices in egg then with the breading mix making sure that each piece is fully coated.

4. Deep fry based on your preferred level of crispiness.

5. Once cooked, drain in kitchen towels to absorb excess oil.
6. Transfer to a serving plate and serve with either gravy, ketchup, mayo-ketchup dip, caesar or ranch dressing.

Most of the breading we have in the market today are salty so, if you are going to use a different brand, make sure to taste it first. If it is bland, you can add salt and pepper to the mixture. The one I used was an unknown brand to me, it is already salty and peppery so, I just used it as is. Just make sure not to put too much breading as the mojos can get too salty.
