After having lunch at Ikea we checked in at Hilton Hotel and then went to Warner Bros. World Abu Dhabi. We got our tickets for free upon checking in at Hilton Hotel! Check out how we got complimentary tickets from Hilton Hotel.
Warner Bros. World Abu Dhabi is just a 10-minute drive away from Hilton Hotel.
You can easily spot the Warner Bros. building since it has different characters painted on its wall.
At the entrance, you will be welcomed by more of your favorite Warner Bros. characters like The Flinch and Bugs Bunny.
Six Different Lands at Warner Bros. World
Inside the world’s biggest indoor theme park are 6 immersive lands: Warner Bros. Plaza, Bedrock, Dynamite Gulch, Cartoon Junction, Gotham City, and Metropolis where you can enjoy different rides and meet your favorite Warner Bros. superheroes and cartoon characters.
Warner Bros. Plaza
Upon entering the park, this is what will welcome you, an art deco-inspired Warner Bros. Plaza. This made me feel that I am really a part of the adventures.
You can start from either the left or the right side of this Plaza. We decided to go on the right side and were welcomed by the Bedrock.
Bedrock
If you know Flintstones, you can instantly feel that you are at the Bedrock and feel that you went back to the Stone Age!
We immediately entered The Flintstones Bedrock River Adventure without knowing what adventure awaits us. We were welcomed by wet seats but there was no turning back now. Well, we just hopped on and enjoyed the ride.
In this adventure, we were chased by dinosaurs and we met the Flintstones gang! This was truly a thrilling ride that we did not expect since you will be surprised with what’s ahead of you.
If you’re not ready to get splashed off with some water, better make this ride your last or just go along and let the other rides dry off your shirt.
Dynamite Gulch
At the Dynamite Gulch, you will be welcomed by the Jetsons, Road Runner, Marvin the Martians, and the Yosemite Sam.
I love Marvin the Martians but unfortunately, some of the rides, including Marvin the Martians’ were closed at that time. So, we just went straight for action to Wile E Coyote and Road Runner’s Fast and Furry-ous. For this ride, of course, I expected it to be something “fast and furious” and they did meet my expectations. I love the feeling that we felt like were almost crashing into the walls of the scenic desert landscape. Love this creative roller coaster ride! That was surely a fun ride and yes, it helped us dry up from the Bedrock River Adventure.
Cartoon Junction
At the Cartoon Junction, there’s Tom & Jerry, the ragtag bunch of the Looney Tunes, and Scooby-Doo.
The Tom and Jerry: Swiss Cheese Spin was unfortunately closed at that time. My sister said that this was one of their favorite and the cutest rides here. Despite it being closed, we got to meet Tom and Jerry!
This area also has Daffy Jet-Propelled Pogo Stick (closed at that time), Cartoon Junction Carousel (which we did not ride), and Tweety Wild Wockets which are for the kids only. And if you’re in for some mystery-solving, there is also Scooby-Doo: The Museum of Mysteries! We definitely enjoyed the ride at the Museum of Mysteries, again, just like how we see it on TV. Amazing!
Last but not the least, the ACME Factory where you will be a product tester on the factory floor for the iconic ACME Corporation. Feel competitive as you can compare your scores with your friends! I got shocked when I saw that I got the highest score in our group. Yey!
Metropolis
The rides at the Metropolis and Gotham City were both state-of-the-art 3D and 4D attractions that one will surely enjoy too!
Metropolis is the home to our favorite superheroes like Superman, Aquaman, and Green Lantern.
The Green Lantern: Galactic Odyssey is also one of my favorite rides here at Warner Bros. We joined their team of interstellar peacekeepers and went for a tour of the cosmos in an action-packed flying theater attraction. The experience was extraordinary as they made eye-popping visuals and effects. We even smell the fresh flowers and had an encounter with Hal’s arch-nemesis Sinestro and the monstrous Parallax which for me was one of the best encounters here.
Another thrilling ride in this DC-themed ride is the Justice League: Warworld Attacks. There is also Superman 360: Battle for Metropolis which was unfortunately closed at the time we went.
Gotham City
Here comes another one of my favorite thrilling 4D rides, this time with Batman at the Batman Knight Flight! Yup, we helped Bruce Wayne aka Batman capture Joker and his group of supervillains. We also love every detail of this ride from the elevator up to the action-packed ride.
If you’re up for another adventure, The Joker Funhouse is also one of its kind. As the name suggests, it will test you with a set of mental and physical challenges. You would have to find your way out of the hall of mirrors and get. As we passed by the hall of mirrors, we went on a slide and saw on the CCTV that we were the first to get out! Yay!!!
Another must-go ride at the Warner Bros. Abu Dhabi is the Riddler Revolution. To give you an idea, it is like a leveled-up Anchors Away but round and spinning. It was dizzying for some but I definitely enjoyed this ride too! I wanted to ride this again but there were other rides that we need to see.
Last, but also not the least is the Harley Quinn and Scarecrow. I have a love-hate feeling for this ride. I think this is their scariest and most intense ride but the ride was too quick for me to hate it that much. This ride will literally turn you upside down!
The Warner Bros. World Abu Dhabi
The Warner Bros. World Abu Dhabi is the world’s biggest indoor theme park located at Yas Island. You will need at least 4 to 5 hours to enjoy all the rides, attractions, and food that the park has to offer. If you’re planning to go with kids, best to check first the minimum height requirements as most of the rides are extremes and only a few are not.
My favorite rides were the Fast and Furry-ous at the Dynamite Gulch, Green Lantern: Galactic Odyssey at the Metropolis, Batman Knight Flight, The Joker Funhouse, and the Riddler Revolution at the Gotham City! If you are in for thrilling rides, you would love these too!
Restaurants and Shops
There were various shops and restaurants inside Warner Bros. World. You are not allowed to bring any drinks or food from outside and food is also prohibited at each attraction. You can buy souvenirs and exclusive merchandise from their shops. They have a promo for ADCB card users where you can enjoy up to a 10% discount on selected items in their shops and restaurants. I was able to enjoy the perks when I bought a souvenir and dine in at the Big Belly Burger at the Metropolis.

How to commute?
We went to the park by car. Hilton Hotel is just a 10-minute drive away from Warner Bros. World. If you are staying in Yas Island hotels, they offer free shuttle buses so you better check it with the hotel where you were staying.
If you are commuting to Yas Island, you can also get a free shuttle bus ride from Dubai. You just need to present your E-ticket or voucher to any of Yas theme parks to board the bus. You can ride the bus at the Deira City Center (entrance besides Aloft Hotel) and Ibn Battuta (Parking 7 stop).

Covid-19 Safety Measures
In Dubai, they are not very strict with COVID-19 safety measures but if you are in Abu Dhabi, they are very strict and you have to follow them. At Warner Bros, all safety measures are properly observed. You are not allowed to take your mask off unless you are going to eat. They won’t also allow you to take photos with the superheroes and cartoon characters without your mask on.
At the time we went there, in March 2022, Abu Dhabi is requiring a negative PCR test result or Al Hosn. So, you should be ready to show it whenever you enter any establishment in Abu Dhabi.
