A lot of people were thinking that we’d spent a lot staying at Hilton Hotel then going to Warner Bros but in reality, we saved a lot and get to have a chill day at Yas Island.
One of the places I was looking forward to in UAE was going to Warner Bros. in Abu Dhabi. Also because this was the day we went to Ikea and dined at Ikea’s Swedish Restaurant and try their famous Swedish Meatballs.
Our initial plan was to go to Warner Bros, have dinner at Ikea, and go home but this changed when my sister found out that Hilton Hotel is offering free tickets to any of the tourist attractions on Yas Island including Warner Bros., Ferrari World, or Yas Waterworld.
If we have known this earlier, we should’ve targeted to go to Ferrari World too instead of just the Warner Bros. Anyway, we don’t have enough time so, we just stuck to our plan.
The original price of the Warner Bros ticket was 290 AED but my sister got a discount and she said that we can get it for only 250 AED each. Good thing they checked and saw that Hilton Hotel has an ongoing promo for Fazaa members wherein you can stay at the hotel and get complimentary access to Warner Bros., Ferrari World, or Yas Waterworld.
Yup, that’s how we get to spend a night at Hilton Hotel and got a free ticket to Warner Bros. Technically speaking, based on our original budget, we paid 250 AED each for Warner Bros. and get to stay for free at the hotel. Yay!
Staying at Hilton Abu Dhabi Yas Island
Hilton Abu Dhabi Yas Island is a world-class luxury resort that opened last year in Yas Island last February 2021. The hotel is accessible to Yas Island’s theme parks, Yas Mall, and Yas Marina.
Their staff are friendly and are accommodating to our requests. We requested a pool view room and they gave it to us. One thing I noticed in hotels we stayed at, is you have to request almost everything. My sister said that it was the case since it is still pandemic. We stayed in a room with two beds, we’re four in the room and they provided us with 2 sets of everything so we had to request for more.
We stayed in their Two Double Beds Guest Room. The room was modern and spacious. They offer complimentary WiFi, an espresso machine, a TV, and a mini-fridge. The room also has a table and chairs.
One thing I liked the most here is the balcony where you can enjoy a good view morning ’till night.
They have connecting rooms but since we requested a pool view, we didn’t get a connecting room. The room has two bathrooms, a half bathroom and the other one with shower and bathtub.
Dining at Hilton Hotel
We did not avail of their breakfast and dinner buffet since we went to Ikea for lunch on our first day and we also ate in Warner Bros. Then, we had our dinner at Yas Mall and our Ikea takeout for breakfast the next day.
If you want to avail their buffet, make sure to check out their promos. We also learned that they are offering a lower rate when you inquire at their front desk upon check-in.
They have different dining areas, the Capila – Pool Bar and Grill where you can enjoy cold drinks, grilled food, and other food such as salad, flatbreads, and healthy bowls in the poolside area. The Graphos Social Kitchen where you can enjoy gourmet cuisine. The Osmo – Lounge Bar where you can enjoy coffee, tea, and pastries. This is located on the left side upon entering the hotel premises.
You can also enjoy Cafe del Mar amenities when you book your stay at Hilton Hotel. It would be nice to watch the sunrise here but they open a bit late, at 10:00 am.
Covid-19 Safety Measures
In Dubai, they are not very strict with COVID-19 safety measures but if you are in Abu Dhabi, they are very strict and you have to follow them. At Hilton Hotel, all safety measures are properly observed so you will be at ease while enjoying their amenities. At the time we went there, in March 2022, Abu Dhabi is requiring a negative PCR test result or Al Hosn. So, you should be ready to show it whenever you enter any establishment.
