Cafe Euphoria Batangas

Visiting The First BTS-Themed Cafe In Batangas

Cafe Euphoria Batangas

Cafe Euphoria 7 is the first ever BTS- themed cafe in Batangas. Originally, we were just going to visit the 7 With You Cafe which we knew because of their live selling. My sister told me that there was another BTS-themed cafe nearby so, we decided to drop by and try out their food too. The good thing is they serve Korean food loved or made by BTS like V’s Hotteok, and J-Hope’s Cheese Croffle as seen on In The Soop 2.

BTS Cafe in Batangas

This BTS cafe is located in Batangas, inside a village, and can be located using Google Maps. We got a bit lost since Google Maps is telling us the wrong directions at first and we did not expect that it is located inside a village. Upon entering the village, there are a lot of cafes and restaurants. There are signages that will bring you to the cafe. Another landmark would be the gym below the cafe and we did find it a bit strange that you’ll pass by a gym before going to the cafe. Hehe.

Purple Closet

Going upstairs, the 7 boys will welcome you! Yay! I did not get the chance to take a photo of it because of the reflection on the glass. Anyway, upon entering Cafe Euphoria, photos of our beloved BTS are displayed on the left side.

And on the right side is the famous Purple Closet. Get ready to snap some photos here or get your wallets ready as they are selling on-hand merch!

Both official and unofficial BTS merchandise can be seen here including their latest albums, Proof, and J-Hope’s Jack in the Box. They also have BT21 merch and fan-made merch like mugs. If Batangas is too far for you, you may check out Noona’s Shop on social media to buy BTS merch.

It was NamKook Month when we visited their cafe and of course, just like other BTS-themed cafes, they celebrated NamKook’s birthday. They still have available cup sleeves from the event and they offered them to us for Php 100.

At the counter, Suga will take your order. 😂

While ordering, I also got distracted by the photos on their tip box, and the NamKook head. Also, the BTS coffee at the back, and the Hope Pot! Too many things to see! Back to our food agenda, here’s what we had:

Hotteok ala V

Are you also someone who loves to try out the food you see that BTS are enjoying? Get ready to be served with V’s Hotteok that he made during the In The Soop 2!

Hotteok

I don’t have expectations since this is the first time I am trying hotteok. It is a flour dough pancake filled with sugar syrup, topped with ice cream, and drizzled with chocolate syrup. The ice cream served to us was already melted. The hotteok was dense and heavy but has a smooth texture. We find this a bit too sweet for our liking, not sure if it was the hotteok or the ice cream. I also wasn’t able to enjoy it that much since I don’t like eating melted ice cream. If I will compare it to Filipino food, the feel is somewhat the same as eating ice cream on bread. Nice to try but I don’t think I’ll order this again if ever I go back here.

Cheese Croffles

Got excited by this one! This was the dessert made by J-Hope on In The Soop 2! J-Hope also mentioned that he loves croffles.

J-Hope's Cheese Croffle

The Cheese Croffle was served on a purple plate, cute! It looks pretty similar to the one that J-Hope made too! A croissant waffle with cheese, nuts, and ice cream as seen on In The Soop 2. This was delicious but again, I don’t really appreciate eating melted ice cream. I think they could improve on this. At least, serve the ice cream unmelted. By the way, they added syrup on top which made it sweeter. If you love sweets, you’ll definitely like this.

Ramyeon

We know that BTS loves ramyeon and we do too!

Ramyeon

I love that it was served on a ramen pot making the experience as authentic as possible. Well, it’s instant ramen served with kimchi on the side. We didn’t like the kimchi served to us because it seems not fresh.

Fishcaketteok

I was craving for fish cakes but unfortunately, they only have this Fishcaketteok.

This one was pretty good. Soft, and chewy.

BTS Cafe Philippines

Originally, we were planning to order just 2 drinks since we already had some at the 7 With You Cafe but we saw their cute cups and decided to order 3 for us.

Grape Muscat

Another drink that BTS enjoys. Remember when V served a drink to RM together with the Hotteok? That was Shine Muscat and this Grape Muscat is the closest thing we can get here at Cafe Euphoria. By the way, this drink has white boba.

Also, don’t forget to take a selfie with our OT7 here!

Aside from those, they also serve Yoongidog, Hope Toast, and Pasta dishes like Carbonara, Lasagna, Arabbiata, and Aglio Olio. They also offer other Korean food like Tteokboki, Gimbap, and Kimchi Quesadillas. For the drinks, they have Borahae Shake which is ube flavored drink with nata, and sago. I think you should try that especially if you love ube or want something purple to drink.

Overall Rating

Overall, we love that they are serving more Korean food here unlike other BTS-themed cafes we’ve been to that serve more pasta dishes and drinks. Their display was nice. I specifically love the photo display even though some of the photos are edited (with abs), I think that is something you should look forward to. 😂 Wanna see it? Check out the video I made here!

I love the purple closet part where the color of the light was purple but for the whole cafe, for me, it was not well-lit. The counter area was well-lit but the dining area wasn’t, in my opinion. Later on, I found out that they are fixing the lights at the time we visited their cafe and it is not how it usually looks. Hope they can get it fixed right away as it affects the overall ambiance of their cafe. As for the food, it was okay. The desserts could have been better if the ice cream wasn’t served melted since I am very particular about that.

By the way, they gave us free photo cards! They let each one of us pick a photocard so, there’s a bit of a surprise!
