After having dinner, my friends and I always go to a coffee shop not just for coffee or tea, and dessert but for more “chikahan”. So, after dining in at Happy Niku, we decided to go to UCC Clockwork since it is the only coffee shop in Capitol Commons that is open ’till 12mn.
Since we already had dinner, we only ordered their cakes and drinks. The cakes are just displayed in one corner and are not on the menu. We love this branch since they offer lots of different types of cakes. Yum!
Macadamia Sansrival – we have high expectations when it comes to Sansrival since we love the famous Sans Rival Cake House in Dumaguete. Well, we are happy that this met our standards. And it has lots of macadamias!

Blackout Cake – if you are someone who loves chocolate cakes like us, you should definitely try this! This one may look just your ordinary small, round chocolate cake but it tastes divine. Even my friends who are not much into chocolate cakes loved this.

Bread Pudding – not a big fan of bread puddings but this one was served with double-smoked bacon and vanilla ice cream. It sounds like a good combination, right? Ugghhh, love this!

My friends ordered their coffee while I had the Matcha Latte.
Matcha Latte – love how this cup was beautiful that I don’t want to destroy it. It was good but hhhmmm… a bit too pricey for its taste as we can get better ones at a more affordable price.

Judy on the Rocks – salted honey on the rim, charcoal roasted coffee, and “on the rocks” cream. My friend loved this drink and said that you can really taste the layer of coffee, and cream.

Kori Kohi – cold brew ice coffee cubes, warm milk, and syrup. The drink tastes good but it would be better if our expectations met reality.

REALITY
Yeah, we’re a bit disappointed about their glass and the amount of iced coffee. We’re not saying that they should add more iced coffee but maybe, it would be better if they took a photo of the real thing. Also, we wanted the glass for photo op. Hahaha.

Overall, we definitely love their cakes and will come back for it though a bit pricey. We just hope that there will be more tea options on their menu.
