Templo Modern Szechuan Fusion: Unlimited Dim Sum Feast

Templo Modern Szechuan Fusion is a small Chinese Restaurant located inside 55 Dapitan Lifestyle Complex, in the heart of Banawe, Quezon City. The restaurant is a bit hard to find since the first thing you will see is a car wash in front. But do not fret about the parking and getting lost, just trust and follow Waze’s direction.

But what really brought us here was their Unlimited Dim Sum Feast Promo. Yes, you read it right. It is an UNLIMITED DIM SUM!

Unlimited Dim Sum Feast Promo

The unlimited Dim sum Feast promo is composed of Pork Siomai, Tausi Spareribs, Chicken Feet, Beancurd Roll, Sea King Roll, Yangchow Rice, Tikoy Roll, and Templo’s Signature Soup. What makes this different from all the other unlimited promotions is that they don’t have a time limit. Again, NO TIME LIMIT!!! This is the perfect way to enjoy an unlimited treat! You don’t have to rush eating just to get the chance to try everything. Enjoy your friend’s company while eating and not worrying about the time. So eat a lot, a real lot.

My top pick from their Unlimited Dim sum Feast Promo are as follows in descending order:

Tikoy Roll

This has become everybody’s favorite. What is Chinese New Year without Tikoy? And what is a Tikoy Roll without custard? Yes, you heard it right! Aside from the usual Tikoy Roll, they serve deep-fried tikoy, rolled inside a wrapper with custard inside! I never thought that fried tikoy and custard would be such a perfect combination, and made even better with sesame seeds sprinkled after cooking. A yummy treat after feasting on all those dim sums!

Sea King Roll

I love everything about this one. Two more orders, please!

Chicken Feet

I don’t really eat this but I do try it from time to time and this one has passed my qualifications – tender, sweet and savory chicken feet.

Templo’s Signature Soup

This soup has sea moss, sea cucumber, scallops, and eggs cooked into perfection. We, Filipinos love soups, so, you definitely must not ignore this bowl of soup.

Tausi Spareribs

The meat was cut into small bite-size pieces. The meat was tender and the taste is just right for me since I really don’t like tausi. But some of my friends were looking for more tausi on this one.

Beancurd Roll

Another classic Chinese dim sum known as Fu Pei in Chinese.

Pork Siomai

Their siomai was delicious, but really nothing special.

Yangchow Rice

Every unlimited food hack is not to eat rice or eat less rice, and that’s what I did. Let’s make “papak” all the dim sum!

This affordable dim sum feast is their Chinese New Year promo which will be available until February 13, 2019, every Monday to Friday starting 12NN to 10PM only.

P.S. MAKE SURE TO RESERVE A SEAT!

Dietitian’s Corner:

  1. Take small bites at a time. Flavors are enjoyed more when you eat slowly. After all, there is no time limit.
  2. Chew your food properly, your stomach will thank you after.
  3. Eat your food while still hot. Dim sum are best eaten while hot.
  4. Be easy on the sauces, dim sums are already well-seasoned. It depends on your preference plus you don’t want to be adding more calories to your meal by adding too much sauce.
  5. Don’t order too much in one go, you can ask them to refill your table once you are done eating everything on your table.
  6. Remember, dim sums are best eaten while hot.
  7. Don’t overstuff yourself with all the dim sum, make room for the tikoy! I bet you will also love this!
