Makati Food Trip

We Finally Tried Sisig sa Rada and Here’s What We Think!

If you are someone who lives or works in Makati, we are sure that you have heard about one of the best sisig in Makati which is known as Sisig sa Rada.

Makati Food Trip

Sisig sa Rada is actually not a restaurant but is one of the Jolly Jeeps or the stalls alongside the Rada street in Makati serving home-cooked meals at a very affordable price.

People line-up just to get their sisig at any time of the day. Luckily, we went to this place at around 2:00 pm and there were only a few people buying sisig. I am not complaining, I just wanted to share that the person, who I think is the owner is irritate and is busy counting her money. Haha. Very amusing. I thought she was mad at me for ordering.

We ordered Sisig with Rice and had it for take out. They also offer paper plates for an additional cost.

We actually thought that the serving is too small but it is actually big enough to satisfy one’s hungry tummy especially that the rice is a lot.

Famous Sisig in Makati

The rice was okay. The pork sisig was cooked with egg and served with sweet mayonnaise and calamansi just the way we want it. It was indeed flavorful and delicious but it was too sweet which we didn’t like that much. Maybe, adding some chili peppers would make it better.

Another thing that I just wanted to share was that we found some eggshells on our sisig and thought that it might be the reason why they are famous. Haha. Kidding aside, we can’t complain. “Choosy pa ba sa halagang 62 pesos?”

Overall, this sisig is definitely sulit but a bit too sweet for us.

Luckily, if you have no time to go out and buy your lunch, you can conveniently order their Sisig or any of the food from their menu via Grab Food and Lalafood. We tried booking during lunchtime before but it wasn’t successful since the Grab drivers nearby are not accepting our request. Better to book early before people start lining up!

P.S. If you don’t want to line up during their peak hours, there’s another Jolly Jeep beside them that caught my attention since they also sell sisig with #unlirice and mountain dew. What a nice marketing strategy! Now, I am wondering if their sisig tastes good. Have you tried it? How was it?
