Modern Mediterranean

Medley: Grab-and-Go

Medley serves grab-and-go traditional home-style Mediterranean food with a modern twist to suit the on-the-go lifestyle of today’s urban dwellers.

Since I just pass by this restaurant whenever I’m walking at High Streets, I never saw their menu and I was surprised seeing that they actually have pizza.

The Big Cheese – basil pesto base, mozzarella, feta cheese, and parmesan cheese in a thin crust pizza. This is definitely one of the best cheese pizza that I have tried so far. I’m not a big fan of pizzas made with several types of cheese but this one is the bomb! I also love its thin and crispy crust.

This one is a crowd favorite during the event.

Lemon & Herb Chicken – lemon & herb chicken, Israeli salad, red bell pepper, red cabbage salad, Moroccan carrot salad, and garlic sauce. I love lemon dressings with a sweet note that’s why I super duper love this bowl of salad. The serving is also huge! Super sulit!

Falafel (The El Nido) Pita Sandwich – crunchy falafel with mixed greens, Israeli salad, Moroccan carrot salad, pickles, and tahini sauce. I was surprised that this is a vegetarian sandwich since it doesn’t look and taste like one. Never thought that this simple looking pita sandwich is this good!

Beef Kofte with Hummus + Pita – juicy beef kofte kebab, tabbouleh, corn salad, sumac onion salad, chickpea salad, and mamba sauce served with hummus and pita bread.

For their rice/hummus bowls, you have the option to have it over Mediterranean rice or hummus and pita however, I prefer the latter.

Levantine Chicken with Mediterranean Rice – sliced Levantine chicken thigh, Moroccan carrot salad, Israeli salad, grilled vegetables, matbukha, and garlic sauce. Just like the previous one, you can have this with hummus and pita instead of Mediterranean rice.

This one tastes good as well but I would love this more if it has hummus and pita instead of rice.

Ginger Mint Lemonade – love the minty flavor of this drink but I don’t like ginger so, I’d say pass on this drink.

Overall, their food tastes great, I can say that we have been missing a lot ignoring this place. My favorites include their Big Cheese Pizza, Lemon & Herb Chicken Salad, Beef Kofte, and Falafel (El Nido) Pita Sandwich.

Next time you passed by Medley, don’t forget to check their menu and grab your food!
