Beef Misono

Go Bento: Everyday Bento Meals Starting at Php 155

Go Bento has 13 bento meals to choose which starts from Php 155 to Php 300.

We’re able to try the following bento meals:

Yakitori – tender chicken skewers with a sweet and savory teriyaki sauce that will make you eat more. I love the yakitori however, I am not a fan of the pickled vegetables served on the side since I am not into pickled vegetables. I hope that there is an option to change it.

Chicken Karaage – I love the Kani Salad that goes with this bento meal. The soup was ordinary and the chicken karaage was too few but I can’t really complain about it because of its price.

Beef Misono – this would be my second favorite among the three bento meals that we have tried. The beef was tender and savory plus the serving of meat is plenty compared to the Chicken Karaage.

All their bento meals come with rice, miso soup, and a side dish (Kani salad or pickled vegetables). You can add iced tea for Php 25.

Aside from the Bento Meals, they also have donburi bowls, poke bowls, ramen, maki rolls, side dishes, snacks, and desserts!

You can choose from the different types of maki rolls — California Maki, Spicy Salmon, Crunchy Salmon, Spicy Tuna, Crunchy Tuna, Chicken Teriyaki, Ebi Katsi Roll, if you and your friends can’t decide on what to get, you can order their Assorted Maki Roll.

Assorted Maki Roll – it comes with Spicy Salmon, Tuna Maki Roll, and California Maki. I must say that this was delicious relative to its affordability.

Spicy Karaage Ramen – this is one of their newest offerings which is perfect for those who wanted something hot and spicy. If you are not in for spicy ramen you can have it in mild spicy or just order their Pork or Chicken Tonkatsu Ramen. This is the answer to your quick ramen cravings.

And for palate cleanser, they have the Milky Cheese, Double Cheese, and Ube Cheese Soft-Serve Ice Cream which comes in a cup or a cone depending on your preference.

Overall, I would recommend Go Bento for people looking for affordable Japanese food in BGC, especially along Bonifacio High Street. They have a lot of options to choose from and the service is quick which is perfect for those who only have limited time to eat. Though I like the Yakitori and Beef Misono Bento Meals as well as the Assorted Maki Rolls, the taste of the food is just average relative to its price.
