Randomly saw this unPizza by unMEAT at the supermarket and thought that I should try it. Also, the price is affordable so, why not? To be honest, I am not expecting that much with this vegan pizza since it is a ready-to-heat pizza. But I also think that it wouldn’t be bad since I have already tried unMEAT Burger Patties from Shakey’s the Good Burger before and I was also able to buy their patties and cook it at home. It tastes actually good and the patties are thick. I would definitely buy that again.
unMEAT Lovers Pizza
unMEAT’s pizza is available in 3 variants but I only saw 2 variants from where I bought it. They have unPizza Margherita, and Sausage & Pepper. The latter was unavailable at the supermarket where I was buying. I chose unMEAT Lovers Pizza since I am not that much a fan of Margherita pizza.
The pizza was quite well-packaged and it does look like the photo.
UnMEAT’s unPIZZA is 100% plant-based, high-source of fiber, source of protein, cholesterol-free, and made with dairy-free cheese. I am not sure why it says high-source of fiber, upon looking at the ingredients, they used bread flour but it also says it contains wheat. Did they use whole wheat bread flour to make it high in fiber? Or just bread flour?
Anyway, another good thing about their products is that they don’t use preservatives.
Our verdict?
UnMEAT unPIZZA is a good option if you are looking for ready-to-eat pizza in the supermarket. The crust was thin, really thin, and soft. I liked it toasted since it has a really thin crust and the meat falls off easily due to the soft crust. The pizza was topped with a generous amount of unMEAT Sausage, unMEAT Giniling, unMEAT Burger Patties, and dairy-free cheese. It was really good that even my parents liked it.

Reheating Instructions
Simply thaw frozen pizza for 5 minutes then put it on a pan. Cover it loosely and heat it for about 5 minutes. If using an oven, a conventional oven or oven toaster, heat it for 5 minutes or until the cheese melts at 230° C.
