Kenny Roger’s Philippines recently opened its first branch here in our province in Lucena City. I’ve been seeing posts about their newest offering, Kenny’s Chimichurri Roast, and finally, I got the chance to try it.
Kenny’s Chimichurri Roast is their original roasted chicken coated with Argentinian Chimichurri Sauce. I was happy that the chicken isn’t dry and was juicy and flavorful on its own. Since I had this for take-out, the sauce was served in a separate container. The herb-based sauce is made with parsley, cilantro, and garlic, spices, and zest giving out a flavorful roast chicken. It gives out a tangy flavor with a bit of spice making it the perfect sauce for their chicken. And yes, no need for gravy! Though I tried it with gravy, and it tastes good as well, I actually like it too!
The chicken was perfectly cooked and juicy so, I don’t have any complaints about it except for the part that the chimichurri sauce was too few! I didn’t ask whether I can get additional sauce for free or if I have to pay extra. Regardless, I would definitely ask for more next time.
For the sides, I like their muffins, it was not dry. Love the coleslaw, and mashed potato with gravy too. I just don’t like their rice since it was mushy. Overall, Kenny’s Chimichurri Roast Chicken is definitely a must-try!

Both Solo Plates A and B already include rice and muffin. I ordered Solo Plate B which comes with 2 sides while Solo Plate A comes with 1 side. The plate already includes a quarter chicken with a cup of rice and muffin. For the 2 sides, I chose their roasted garlic potato mashed and coleslaw. Aside from those, you can also choose from Tex-Mex macaroni, macaroni & cheese, sour cream & chives potato, tomato cucumber onion salad, corn & carrots, chicken macaroni, fresh fruit salad, and steamed vegetables.
Aside from the plated meals, you can also enjoy it family-style by ordering their Chimichurri Roast Group Meal which comes with 1 whole chicken, 4 side dishes, 4 corn muffins, and a drink of your choice for Php 1,040.
