I watched the Premiere Gala of Disney and Pixar’s Onward at the Vista Cinemas Imax with Laser last February 23 and afterward decided to dine-in at Evia’s Commune Hall.
Upon entering the hall, the first store that you will see is the STONS Steakhouse or STONS Minute Steaks + Onion Rings.
My friends and I were definitely not yet hungry at that time since we ate lots of popcorns and drinks while watching the cinema but we instantly drool over this steak place.
BTW, Onwards was such a heartfelt movie that you should not miss! You can catch it on Vista Cinemas starting March 4, 2020.
Going back, upon seeing the steak house, we stopped and checked their menu first. We already want the steak but still strolled around the area before deciding. The Commune Hall has a lot to offer from street food, Korean food, gelato, ribs and a lot more. Although I was also craving for Korean food, steak still won.
Aside from their USDA steak options, what really caught our attention was its affordability. STEAK FOR LESS THAN PHP 300??? We’re definitely in!
They have Minute Steak Boxes which you can enjoy with your choice of minute steak: Argentina, Canada, New Zealand, and Brazil. The Minute Steak Boxes comes in 3 options: Box 1 – steak with Organic Green Salad, Box 2 – steak with Organic Green Salad and Onion Rings, and Box 3 – steak with Organic Green Salad and Onion Rings and Aligot Cheese. Aside from that, they also offer Signature Premium Sausages, STONS Steak Sandwiches, STONS Rice Bowls, STONS Onion Ring Towers, and other add ons like caramelized onions, bacon, extra cheese sauce, and a lot more! All are equally tempting! I actually had a hard time choosing what to order.
Since most of their meals are under Php 300, we don’t have high expectations but…
Box 4 – I ordered the USDA minute steak (approx. 300g) with Organic Green Salad. For the salad, you can choose your dressing from ranch, vinaigrette, or caesar.
Since I love steaks and salads, I ordered this one and it definitely did not disappoint! STEAK IS STEAK! I also love their vinaigrette dressing that goes with my salad.
If you want more steak, you can actually add 120g USDA Minute Steak for just Php 149 or the Minute Steak for Php 120. What a steal!

Box 6 – USDA Mintue Steak, Organic Salad with ranch dressing and Aligot Cheese. The Aligot Cheese was described as an incredible and magical blend of gooey mashed potatoes and cheese. True enough, it was indeed incredible and magical. Also, their onion rings are to die for! It has a a strong savory breading flavor that blended well with everything on this box. I would definitely go back and order their Onion Ring Tower which comes in 6 inches (Php 159) and 12 inches (Php 225).

Steak n’ Egg Rice – USDA Minute Steak with Fried Egg and Dirty Rice. I am someone who can simply ditch rice whenever there’s a salad, or mashed potato to go with my steak but this one is an exemption. My friend offered me to try the rice, and I can’t get enough of it! The rice was full of flavor and I definitely enjoyed eating it alone. I was like, why am I eating this rice alone??? The rice was cooked on the same pan with the steak which made it mouthwatering.

After finishing our meal, we still wanted more even though we are already full. I just want to order everything on their menu. But we have decided to leave the heavenly place and had some drinks and cakes at the Coffee Project Black.

STONS Steakhouse is really a must-try when in Evia. Affordable and delicious steak that’s definitely worth your money! Also, the Commune Hall itself is a nice place to dine-in. It was spacious, the ambiance was also not your typical food court, and they offer a lot of dining options.
Will definitely go back and recommend this place to anyone who loves steaks and onion rings!
