Having visited Disneyland twice, I’ve developed a foolproof cheat sheet to help you make the most of your magical adventure. Skip the long waits – with these Disneyland tips, you’ll be conquering the park like a seasoned pro!

Your Foolproof Disneyland Cheat Sheet:

1. Prioritize Your Must-Do Rides: List your top Disneyland attractions before you even enter the park.
2. Download the Official Disneyland App: This essential tool is your best friend for navigating Disneyland, seeing real-time wait times, accessing interactive maps, and checking event schedules for parades, shows, and more. By using the app, you can also see how best to go from one ride to another.
3. Hit Shorter Wait Times First: To maximize your day, start with rides that have shorter lines. This way, you’ll experience more attractions before the crowds fully build. You might even find that some traditionally “long-wait” rides have shorter queues later in the evening, right before the “momentous” (fireworks display). For instance, we practically walked onto Hyperspace Mountain and The Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh about an hour before momentous!
4. Bring Reusable Water Bottles: To save money and stay hydrated, be sure to bring your own water bottle or tumbler. Then, take advantage of the numerous water refilling stations at Disneyland throughout the park.
5. Pack Snacks: To keep your energy up and avoid pricey impulse buys, consider packing some snacks. Of course, Disneyland offers a fantastic array of food stalls, cafes, and restaurants, so if you’re not on a strict budget, definitely indulge in some of the cute and yummy treats!
