We recently bought an oven and I already tried baking a few recipes like the Cinnamon Rolls (but my sister actually baked it) and the Crumble Cake where I failed the first time I did it. So, I thought I needed a refresher course since it has been years since I learned baking and I was glad when Sweet Success invited me to join their Virtual Baking Class for Beginners last September 5.
The live demo class was held via Zoom for about 3 hours from 9:00 am to 12:00 nn and was led by Zenaida Tong.
The virtual baking class was interactive as students can freely ask questions by typing in their questions on the chatbox. All questions were answered immediately which for me was more effective since we cannot do the recipe side by side.
The virtual class was definitely not easy since you won’t be able to follow them side by side but the good thing was she was also giving out some tips during the live demo class. Also, they provided their contact details if ever we have more questions. Can’t wait to try out the recipes I learned from them!
During the live demonstration class we’re able to learn how to bake the following:
- Gooey Chocolate Marshmallow Clouds
- Fully Loaded Rocky Road Brownies
- Moist and Fluffy Butter Load
- Fresh Apple Cinnamon Muffins
We also learned general tips on baking and how we can further explore and play with the recipes but she reminded us that “baking is the exact science”.
It was my first time attending a virtual baking class and it was a great experience that I’m glad that I had the chance to take part in. The tips that I learned will really be helpful when I am exploring new recipes.
I’d definitely recommend joining their virtual classes whether you wanted a short refresher course about baking just like me, or if you wanted to start learning how to bake, and new recipes!
All classes need to have a minimum of 15 students for the class to proceed and will be limited to up to 40 students only. Make sure to enroll ahead of time as it is a first-come-first-served basis. Upon successful registration and payment, an acknowledgment e-mail will be sent. Upon payment, a confirmation e-mail will be sent together with the final details, and recipe handouts. Yup, that easy! Just wait for the class schedule and enjoy!
